You are absolutely right about your scraps. They can and do become quilts for someone else. As someone said you pay the same price for the scraps as you do for the yardage. On the other hand, my scraps may be overpowering me. At least some of my 2" strips were used in the quilt I just finished. (But, it didn't make much of a dent.)
